We had a lovely time this weekend, getting together with the Jews and Souders! Ada and Anja took a last dip in the pool too.
This week we had 4 days of school. On Tuesday, Ada got into the math class that she wanted, which takes place in mid-afternoon instead of at dinnertime or later. However, we got the email about it about an hour before the start of class #3! So, she watched the video for class 1 and then attended class 3. On Wednesday, she and I went to the Hollis library and spent the morning there working through all the math that she needed to catch up on. She did 9 lessons and got it all done in one morning! I was very proud of her. She also did grammar, geography, and finished the Tale of Despereaux that day. Whew! The next day was a rest day, understandably. Then on Friday she finished up the Thursday and Friday work.
We have enjoyed nice weather this week! Ada did both math classes in the front yard, and lots of reading on the trampoline and in the hammock.
