This week was a nice, relaxed week. Though she loves Brave Writer, having a break from it can be good too. Ada and I did lots of reading and snuggling as we were deep into Mara: Daughter of the Nile. We also got out her crochet blanket project so that she could do that while I read.
Ada also tidied and decorated her room for the fall a bit, including her bookcase. Thus, she got caught up on her reading list. She has read the entire Keeper of the Lost Cities series nearly three times in a row this year, but she has also read a goodly number of other great stories in between!
This week also received our Homeschool Languages German 2 box after a long wait, and were excited to unpack all the beautiful items. We played "Guess Who" in German immediately! The boys were clamoring to use the new resources soon too.
