April Week 2

This week was another relatively relaxing week, with just the basic schedule. We had our mornings at home, and didn't have to rush through schoolwork! We finished Hittite Warrior this week- hooray! It wasn't Ada's favorite book ever, but I liked it well enough. She continued work in grammar, geography, and read about the Minoans in history. In her writing class, she continued working on the draft of her short story. In math she learned about converting between percents, decimals, and fractions to solve problems. Since the weather is getting warmer, we spent some time drawing with chalk on the driveway this week. Ada also started a new sewing project- she's appliqueing blueberries onto a t-shirt!
